Hello, my name is Man Ting and I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Washington. My clinical experience is in the field of medical social work. Currently, I supervise a mental health day program serving the Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders populations. My background includes working with the geriatric population and adults with mental health disorders through group and individual therapy.
Through my work experiences, I recognized the importance of collaboration and working together as a team. As you begin your journey of healing, my goal is to play a supportive role in guiding you to find ways to cope. I apply an individualized approach through utilizing different modalities such as ENGAGE psychotherapy, solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and emotional freedom technique.
My areas of focus are individual counseling with adults and older adults experiencing depression and anxiety. In addition, I also have a growing interest in perinatal and postpartum mental health support particularly exploring grief and loss. It is no easy task to ask for help, let alone taking the courage to disclose your own struggles. I hope that I can be of help in supporting you in your journey to cope and heal through counseling. I look forward to the opportunity of working with you.
