Souchinda Khampradith, LICSW
My therapy approach is holistic, in that I incorporate a bit of Eastern and Western philosophies of healing. The human spirit is hard to break; we are more resilient than we think. In therapy, I work to help individuals find their strengths so they can find their way to a fuller and more peaceful life.
I have been providing direct service to individuals since 1999. I specialize in working with individuals with a refugee and immigrant history. I am a Certified Gottman Educator for the Bringing Baby Home Program and love working with new and expecting parents. I have also facilitated trainings to service providers on cultural competency in Washington State. I am recognized as an Asian/Pacific Islander Ethnic Minority Mental Health Specialist.
I also utilize a variety of therapy models including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Mindfulness. I view these modalities and others as tools, rather than lens with which I look at all clients through. I take special care to understand the uniqueness of each individual and situations in order to properly guide the healing process.
I welcome the opportunity to work with you.
